Get inspired, before work.

January 27, 2012, 8:30-10:00am
Space with a Soul – 281 Summer St. 7th Floor Boston, MA

The January presenters are Daren Bascome and Peter Herman.
Tickets will be available Monday, January 23rd, starting at 7:00 AM.

These two gentlemen know a lot about a great cup of coffee (and origami). Peter Herman and Daren Bascome are creators of the Compleat cup, an ingenious disposable coffee cup that doesn’t need a plastic lid. They’ll share with us insights about product design, how an architect’s idea was brought to life by a designer, and their mission to entice folks to ditch sippy cups (and that extra plastic) and instead “fill, fold and drink.”

Peter Herman, AIA, is an architect by trade for the last 25 years, with a longstanding commitment to environmental stewardship and the responsible use of materials. He currently works at Ellenzweig, an architectural firm based in Cambridge.

Daren Bascome is founder of Proverb, an award-winning global brand-building agency in Boston, and has been named as “one of the most sought-after designers in Boston” by the Boston Globe. A former director of the Massachusetts College of Art Foundation Board, he is currently an overseer of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.

They achieve that goal by providing shared office space, developing shared services, and engaging companies with a track record of work with the nonprofit community to provide affordable services to their nonprofits.
