Our October presenter is Bruce Rosenbaum of ModVic.
Free tickets will be available Monday, October 15, starting at 7:00 AM.
Bruce Rosenbaum has quickly become an authority on Steampunk art and design through his Victorian home restoration and modernization companies, ModVic (Modern Victorian) and Steampuffin. Bruce is a licensed contractor, has an MBA from Duke University and has fully restored and transformed his own home into the well-known ‘Steampunk House’ in Sharon, Massachusetts.
Living Steampunk: Thinking and Creating in Opposites. How do you marry a Victorian or Industrial aesthetic to modern technology and appliances? It’s a matter of Janusian thinking – the creative problem solving technique of combining and synthesizing opposites. Learn how Steampunk master, Bruce Rosenbaum of ModVic, turned his whole home into functional art with repurposed objects and found himself in the process.
